Peace by Piece Community Pizza Nights

How it Works

Every Wednesday night, from 5pm – 7:30pm, through September, A Wandering Fire is welcoming the public to our home base for wood fired pizza. Pay what you can, and a portion of all monies received will be donated to a different local cause each week.

There is a catch, though – you don’t get to choose what goes on your pizza – just meat or no meat. Part of why we are doing this is to reduce food waste, so each week we have different toppings that need to be used up. Each pizza is different – a surprise! But that is part of the fun. You can take your pizza to go, or bring a chair & beverage, and stay a while. You might also want to bring bug spray…

    • When you arrive, grab a number – one number per pizza.
    • When your number is called, you get a pizza!
    • When you are done, drop some money in a donation box if you can. It is that easy!

 

 

Join in the fun

Peace by Piece is all about meeting new people, sharing what we have, and being kind to the planet. We welcome everyone, and encourage our guests to introduce themselves to others and join in the circle. We have a few yard games for kids and kids at heart. We love it when our guests bring things to share – a dessert, extra veggies from the garden, something special to put on pizzas, extra plants from the garden, beer – whatever you have to share.
